Marc Pilgaard works with painting, sculpture and drawing. His works explore the boundaries between figuration and abstraction, aiming to give the viewer space to use their imagination to discover their own deeper meaning in the artwork. Through references to both nordic and greek mythology he uses archetypal symbolism to comment on the human experience, with a socially critical perspective of humanity.
